The Brittany Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, care and placement of homeless dogs. We run a no-kill facility.
We rescue all dogs, regardless of breed, and we often focus our efforts on the harder-to-place dogs such as seniors, disabled or abused dogs, and "media condemned" breeds such as Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, & Dobies.
NEXT UPCOMING EVENT
Memorial Event and Chili Cook-Off!
It's almost here, the event you've been waiting for! Our annual Memorial Event and Chili Cook-off will take place on Saturday, May 19, from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
The day begins with a chili cook-off where you can vote on best chili (there are other snacks too!). If you'd like to enter your own chili in the contest, please contact us at email@example.com. The winner will receive a beautiful gift basket, plus bragging rights!
In the last hour of the event, we reserve time to honor the memories of our departed loved ones. Brittany Foundation volunteers and supporters all come together for this special day. Human or animal, any soul you have loved and lost deserves a special remembrance.
For more information or to purchase a remembrance pinwheel or painted rock, please see our Events page here.
Flynn: "I’m the life of the party. I love to race out of my room in the morning to see who wants to run and play with me. I get along with all of the dogs here, I’m happy, a little goofy and full of love once you get to know me. It takes awhile for me to warm up to new people, but that’s just my unique personality. I like super short walks and once in a while a longer one. My roommate Trevor just found his forever home and I am hoping I am next."
