Currently waiting for her forever home.
The Brittany Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, care and placement of homeless dogs. We run a no-kill facility.
We rescue all dogs, regardless of breed, and we often focus our efforts on the harder-to-place dogs such as seniors, disabled or abused dogs, and "media condemned" breeds such as Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, & Dobies.

Charlie: I am here because my family became ill and fell on hard financial times so they had to move into assisted living where they do not allow dogs my size. I lived with my family for 12 years so this has been a big adjustment but I have found a new friend in my roommate Gretchen. We go to the play yard together and for walks so that is helping me settle in. The volunteers say I am kind, gentle and wonderful on a leash. Do you have extra room on your couch for an old guy like me?”
If you can open your heart and home to Charlie please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Many of you know our friend and former Adoption Coordinator, Gwen Romani. Gwen touched many lives, and her passing on September 17, 2018 deeply saddened the entire Brittany Foundation family, as well as her many loving friends and family members.
Gwen volunteered with The Brittany Foundation for over 10 years. In addition to adopting several dogs from us over the years, she worked directly with our dogs at the ranch, served as our Adoption Coordinator, and contributed so many great ideas as well as thousands of hours of her time. She was a huge advocate for helping dogs to stay in their existing loving homes, rather than being surrendered when owners were going through a hard time. In her honor, we have established the Gwen Romani Community Outreach Fund.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide resources and access to care, so that struggling families are able to keep their dogs. We will work with our many supporters, including other non-profits, to identify families in need and to evaluate how we may be able to help.
Please consider donating to the Gwen Romani Community Outreach Fund. It’s a way to honor an amazing woman, and a way to help us give back to the community that has supported The Brittany Foundation for so long.
