The Brittany Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, care and placement of homeless dogs. We run a no-kill facility.
We rescue all dogs, regardless of breed, and we often focus our efforts on the harder-to-place dogs such as seniors, disabled or abused dogs, and "media condemned" breeds such as Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, & Dobies.
A Day in Their Paws
Our 11th Annual A Day in Their Paws event was a big success! THANK YOU to all who participated and/or attended! We had some kids who had a great time with our Family Fun activities, we raised enough funds to cover the cost of caring for the dogs for several months, and best of all, we placed a dog! Congratulations to Titan, who is in his new home and doing great!
If you meant to donate during this event and the time got away from you, it's not too late! Head on over to the Day in Their Paws page, or just click on the donate button at the top right of this page!

Maddy: Maddy is currently living in a foster home, but her foster family is moving out of state and will not be able to take her with them. If you would like to foster or adopt Maddy, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
"Any chance you have a pool, beach access, lakefront? Heck a small kiddie pool from Walmart will do just fine! Did I mention I love people and especially kids so we can share the pool. When I am not lounging in my kiddie pool here at the ranch, you can find me on a short walk with the staff or stretched out on my couch. While I love the water and in the summer months would prefer to be a little more wet than dry, I am considered a bit of a couch potato. So if your weekends consist of binge watching Netflix I am the perfect girl for you!"

Many of you know our friend and former Adoption Coordinator, Gwen Romani. Gwen touched many lives, and her passing on September 17, 2018 deeply saddened the entire Brittany Foundation family, as well as her many loving friends and family members.
Gwen volunteered with The Brittany Foundation for over 10 years. In addition to adopting several dogs from us over the years, she worked directly with our dogs at the ranch, served as our Adoption Coordinator, and contributed so many great ideas as well as thousands of hours of her time. She was a huge advocate for helping dogs to stay in their existing loving homes, rather than being surrendered when owners were going through a hard time. In her honor, we have established the Gwen Romani Community Outreach Fund.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide resources and access to care, so that struggling families are able to keep their dogs. We will work with our many supporters, including other non-profits, to identify families in need and to evaluate how we may be able to help.
Please consider donating to the Gwen Romani Community Outreach Fund. It’s a way to honor an amazing woman, and a way to help us give back to the community that has supported The Brittany Foundation for so long.
